Said Yes

to Jesus?

The foundation of a relationship with Jesus is the reality of communion. We believe Jesus willing sacrificed his life on a cross, rose from the dead, and is heaven. Through His death and resurrection, we have forgiveness and healing.

The word communion means sharing or participating in the same thing or common union.

1 Corinthians 10, verse 16 says it this way:

“For when we pray for the blessing of the communion cup, isn’t this our co-participation with the blood of Jesus? And the bread that we distribute, isn’t this the bread of our co-participation with the body of Christ?”

Without salvation we cannot truly celebrate or participate with the body and blood of Jesus.

The bread or cracker we eat and juice or wine we drink are symbols of Jesus’ body and blood. Communion is the act of remembering and honoring God for loving us enough to make a way for us to live in relationship with Him. We connect heaven’s power to our human need when we receive communion.

Get your bread and juice ready. Reading a verse in your Bible, praying or reading a devotion are ways you can settle your thoughts and heart on Jesus. Take your time, invite Holy Spirit into your space, drink your juice and eat your bread. Listen for His voice inside of you.
