Day 10

30 Day Challenge - Day 10

Drink it All

Matthew 26:26-28 KJV

“And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body. And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it; for this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.”

When Jesus spoke these words He did not mean to literally drink the entire cup. What he did mean was that He wants us to consume all that He was going to accomplish through His death and resurrection.

Don’t leave anything in the cup!

Drink all of the blessing,

All of the salvation,

All of the Baptism

All of the Holy Spirit,

All of the healing,

All of the deliverance,

All of the inheritance we have in Jesus!

While we are drinking, we need to drink all of the responsibility too!

All of the discipline,

All of the holiness,

All of the prayer life,

All of the fasting,

All of the giving,

Drink what tastes good and what doesn’t taste so good!

As you receive communion today, recognize communion is far greater than a simple religious ceremony. Jesus intends for us to receive all that He died for. Receive communion believing Him for whatever it is that you are in need of.
